AUG 2006 - Caples Creative Awards call for entries
August 2006: The John Caples International Awards competition, based in New York, is now accepting entries. The awards recognise the world’s most innovative direct marketing creative work, and New Zealand has traditionally done well. Kiwi agencies racked up 16 awards last year - only the UK won more awards. For details on how to enter, go to www.caples.org
Due to production difficulties, the hard-copy Call for Entry has been delayed this year. But entries received by 1 October will qualify for the Early Bird entry fee. The final deadline for all entries is 21 October, and these entries must pay the full entry fee, so you’ll want to start on your entry soon if you’re going to submit work.
To qualify for this year’s competition, the work must have been ‘in market’ between 1 August 2005 and 31 July 2006. For more details and entry information – and to obtain entry forms – please go to www.caples.org. Caples Night has been scheduled for 8 March 2007 in New York.
