APR 2007 - Publicis Dialog Scholarship goes to Wellington
The Marketing Association Certificate of Direct Marketing Graduation was held in Wellington on 1 March 2007 and in Auckland on 16 March 2007.
The winner of the Publicis Dialog Scholarship for top marks in the 2006 Certificate of Direct Marketing course is Renata Lemow, Direct Marketing Specialist at AA Life.
"Although I found the Certificate pretty tough in terms of the work load that was required, the course content and delivery was excellent,” said Renata. “It provided me with a better understanding of direct marketing and I felt what I learnt in class could always be applied when I got back to work. I’d encourage anyone in a marketing role to complete it.”
Since completing the Certificate, Renata has joined AA Life (a joint venture between the AA and Asteron Life Limited) as a Direct Marketing Specialist at the start of this year, managing and rolling out campaigns to AA Members. “In this role I’m able to put lots of my Certificate learnings to use, especially around targeting and segmentation,” she said. Renata was previously employed by Agriculture ITO for just over two years as an Industry Product Manager and is grateful to them for enrolling her on the Certificate course last year.
“I'm still thinking about what I'd like to do with the scholarship but would like to thank Publicis Dialog for giving me the opportunity to further my personal development."
