MAY 2008 - Go Stats!
Statistics New Zealand hold a wealth of information that can really benefit businesses. An increasing amount of this information is being made available for free.
We have teamed up with local business organisations to deliver a series of seminars, nationwide. The seminars have been running since 2006. Following the 2007 Go Stats! seminars, 98% of respondents said they would recommend it to others.
It is open to all business people, mentors and advisors. Each event will feature a presentation about the local market, detailing how our information has helped businesses to:
- evaluate their business potential
- estimate their market share
- apply for finance
- use effective target promotion
- assess site locations
- understand import/export trends
The seminar will also demonstrate how to get the most from the information available at Statistics New Zealand, including where to find information on our website and how to use our online tools.
During the workshop session there is an opportunity for attendees to discuss their individual needs with one of our customer service team.
