"Screw the recession, we're having a party," said Auckland design firm, gardyneHOLT, and it was a good one too. The best ever said some afterwards, and we agree. Naturally.
It was an Orange Party, taking a lead from a Frank Sinatra quote "Orange is the happiest colour", reportedly made as he poured vodka into his morning orange juice. Helping to get our juices flowing were a couple of our good client products, Mt Beautiful wines and the Pienui pie cart serving hot pies.
We're a design firm, and while we don't normally design parties, perhaps we should. But for now, we'll continue to please and delight our clients with our graphics work for print, in web development and in languages translations work.
The excuse for the Orange Party was that it was the conclusion of our office expansion and refurbishment, and also to celebrate the opening of our office in Bangkok. And Shanghai. If that wasn't enough justification, we're also at the 3 year anniversary of our founding merger. Its not that we don't care about present gloom, we just don't think that good companies will want poorer quality services as a consequence. They'll still want good work delivered through good quality relationships, and that's gotta be celebrated at times. So why not let us put you on our next party invitation list?
