OCT 2009 - New Zealand Post Partnership Aims to Change the Way Companies Talk to Kiwis

Auckland, 28 October 2009 – New Zealand Post and Acxiom® Corporation, a world leader in direct and interactive marketing services, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding to work together on an offering that will change marketing in New Zealand.

The two companies have joined forces to develop an ‘integrated marketing consumer universe’ – an extensive data-set that will provide a broader and deeper marketing solution than has previously existed. For marketers, this means an unparalleled ability to target and communicate effectively with New Zealanders via a wide range of media channels.

Dr Sohail Choudhry, General Manager Targeted Communications at New Zealand Post, says, “New Zealand Post has had a long-standing relationship with Acxiom. Both organisations share a strong vision for targeted 1-2-1 communications in this country, so we’re very proud to announce this new partnership to help deliver this vision.
