At the final Central Regional Luncheon for 2009 we were joined by Anthony Gardiner, Web Content Administrator, NZ Army, Andy Blood, Group Creative Director, TBWA, and Duncan Bair, Head of Brand and Communications, Orcon.
This luncheon focused on Twitter and the speakers used real-life case studies to show us how Twitter can be added to our marketing mix, how it can support us to launch a campaign, communicate internally or maximise sales and service.
One of the most important points covered was how we can use Twitter to help achieve our organisation's goals, rather than just for fun. If you have someone at your work who spends all day on Facebook or Twitter, don't fire them. Set them up with an organisation account. They will love their job and your organisation will benefit from the real life conservations that they are having.
