Beyond Business As Usual Event Summary
December 2009 - Scary Washing Machine
At the final Southern Regional Luncheon for 2009, Zac Pullen, Client Services Director at Tango Communications was supported by video presentations by Cameron Smith, Marketing Manager at 100% and Scary's original owner, Mike Whittaker.
This luncheon focused on the story of the Scary Washing Machine campaign and the speakers demonstrated how easily the simplest of ideas can become a huge success, even if it wasn't planned. With careful management, listening to the audience and responding accordingly a social media campaign can spawn and grow in momentum and success.
This presentation demonstrated that what may seem 'beyond business as usual' can in fact have some very 'business as usual' principles.
