March 2010 - The Evolution of Direct Marketing

At the first Northern Regional Event for 2010, we were joined by Wayne Pick, Creative Director - RAPP, Matt Cowie, General Manager Retail Solutions - Datamine and Hamish Travers, Director - Twenty.  Our speakers discussed how Direct Marketing is evolving and how the possibilities for marketers are now greater than ever. 

Our speakers discussed how the there has never been a better time to use the tried and tested formula of audience, offer, format, and creativity. Once thought of as a hierarchy, these elements are now underpinned by brand and have equally important roles to play.

Throughout all the change direct marketing has experienced, one thing which has remained constant is the dynamics of human relationships and with so many channels available, we need to be honest in everything we do.
