eMarketing Network - About Us

The eMarketing Network (formally known as eMarketing Council) was set up to provide support to agencies, suppliers and practitioners of email marketing, online advertising, eCommerce and online promotions. Our objective is promote ethical best practice eMarketing in New Zealand.

Since launching in 2001 as the eMarketing Council it was felt the role of the Council had evolved and needed a new name to reflect its stronger focus in providing a more supportive role to those involved in eMarketing in New Zealand and leading the way in this dynamic and vibrant form of marketing.

The change of name to eMarketing Network (eMN) reflects the intention of the executive to give New Zealand marketers the opportunity to develop all forms of online marketing in a supportive environment offering education, knowledge and development of best practice as outlined in the original objective above. In addition it intends to develop into a Network that should be considered the first point of contact for any commentary or development in the industry.

The eMarketing Network (eMN) is driven by an executive committee of industry professionals who donate time and resources to enable the Network to fulfil its objectives.

What does the eMN Executive do?
The executive committee is focused on three key areas:

Lobbying, Alliances and Standards: Promoting industry best practice in a way that ensures the eMarketing industry remains self regulated.
