1. Getting our Data in shape!
Like a lot of other kiwi businesses our database is a mess, and we don't mind admitting it. It's a fast-paced industry with people changing roles, companies merging and growing so our database is constantly evolving. With that in mind, we've committed to clearing our database of all the dirty dupes, dead weight, and another word beginning with D. We have a dedicated person focusing on cleaning up our key contacts, checking mailing addresses and even picking up the phone to make sure we know who we're talking to. We're also trying hard to get you, our awesome customers, to tell us more about yourselves, so we can deliver the cool stuff you're interested in.
2. Commit to better stuff
Which brings us to delivering something of value, otherwise, why bother. Not only have we tweaked our Learning and Development Courses offering members cost saving bundle packages, we've increased the number of free (but only if you're a member) sunrise sessions. And we're making sure that .InBox delivers current, specific and interesting content that helps you become a better marketer. At least we're gonna damn well try!
3. Embrace Automation
We've just moved over full-time to the Ubiquity engage platform and while we're still in the early days, we are already looking at how we can better communicate. Planning our customer journeys, lifecycles and behaviours, we're getting a better picture of what it is that we can create to achieve better outcomes for you.
4. Try new things
Like any business, it doesn't take long to fall back on the tried and true - and stop doing the try bit. We are looking outside of the box, embrace new ideas, concepts, angles and channels. BE unexpected...

At the Marketing Association, we market to marketers. It's like selling fish to fisherman or tanning oil to Trump, they've got plenty. So, we've got to do stuff that maybe, you wouldn't expect. Like stopping right here.
